Last week I saw one of my absolute favorite movies of all time. Monsters University. As a child I loved Monsters Inc. and I didn't think that Disney and Pixar could ever create a sequel that would top it. It was phenomenal! The movie takes place in the past when Sully and Mike went to college to become scarers. At first, they hate each other. They're complete opposites. Sully thinks he can ace a test by his looks and talent in scaring while Mike focuses all on the books and studying for the big final. Mike is seen as the little guy who couldn't even scare a fly while Sully is the most feared monster on campus. Everybody has heard about the Sulivan family name and expects Sully to follow his father's footsteps. Although, Sully and Mike both learn a valuable lesson and become the best of friends in the end.

I would give Monsters University a 9.5 out of 10! It is rated G. It was great and hilarious! I would recommend this to every age group including adults. Both of my parents and siblings loved it and I hope that you do too!

Mrs. Doubtfire didn't sound like a good movie at first to be honest. My mom recommended it to me and I had no idea what it was about. My mom said that it was one of her favorites as a kid so I didn't really think it would be very good! Sorry mom! XD It's about a man and a woman who have three kids but get into lots of arguments and get a divorce. The woman gains custody of the children and he is very depressed. He can only see his children on Saturdays for one hour. This breaks his heart. Eventually the mother realizes she needs help taking care of the kids so she puts an ad in the paper for a nanny. With the help from the dads' his brother, the dad transforms himself using latex, makeup, and rubber, into a woman and applies for the job. He gets it and things get not only complicated for him but hilarious. It's a heartfelt story and I would watch it many times!

I would give Mrs. Doubtfire a 9 out of 10. It is rated PG-13 mainly for the language but it's not too inappropriate. It's a little over two hours so it is long but watch the whole thing, it's definitely worth it! I'd recommend it to anybody and everybody!

Safe Haven is a movie that many people have mixed feelings about. Some say that it was a great romantic, sob story that was spectacular. Others, they disagree. They say that it's just another predictable Nicholas Sparks book turned into a movie. Nothing too different from the others. While it is still in theaters, many people have seen it. It's one of those movies where there isn't a definite answer of whether or not it's a good movie or a bad one. It's 50% who like it and 50% who don't. It just depends on what type of movies you like. It was a well casted and well made. I would recommend seeing it even if I didn't like it just to see how you liked it...

I would rate Save Haven a 4 out of 10. It is PG-13. Because of romance and language it has been rated PG-13. I would not recommend people under the age of ten to see it. Otherwise, go for it!

Parental Guidance is a movie that came out at the end of 2012 and is rated PG. It's about two grandparents whose daughter and son-in-law need them to watch their children. The relationship between the grandparents and grandchildren isn't the best. They don't see each other often and it's awkward when they do get together. Now, they must live with one another for one whole week. That includes getting kids to school, instrument lessons, play-dates, pretty much everything you can think of happening between three kids. To make the week even more crazy, grandpa Artie has a little secret to hide and must keep it from everyone in the family...

I would give Parental Guidance a 6 out of 10 stars. It's not the most creative plot but it sure is funny. This movie is full of humor for all ages and will warm your heart. It's a fun, family-friendly story and has something that everybody can relate to. It's a definite must see.

The movie Hotel Transylvania is a family movie that's funny for all ages. It's cartoon but has humor that even adults laugh at. It's about a girl named Mavis and her father, Dracula. The movie takes place in a hotel in Transylvania that's full of monsters. It sort of acts as a safe haven for the monsters to be protected from humans. Mavis is turning 118 (as a vampire, that's equivalent to about 18 years for humans!) and wants freedom from her father. That's something that he isn't ready to give and he wants to prove his point. When an unexpected human shows up in the hotel, Dracula sees his opportunity  Little does he know that his daughter will soon fall in love with him...

I'd give Hotel Transylvania 7.5 starts out of 10. It's rated PG and about 90 minutes long. Enjoy!

The movie Brave is a major motion picture rated PG about a young girl named Merida who lives in Scotland. Merida's mother expects her to act like the princess she is. Merida would rather be riding her horse through the luscious woods and shooting arrows into tree trunks with her archery skills. Everything seemed okay until the law requires Merida to get married. Merida gets upset with her mother and wishes to change her fate. Little did she know that her fate will be changed, and not for the better. If Merida doesn't change her life back, these things will become permanent...

I give the movie Brave 8 out of 10 stars for a creative plot and intriguing end. This is a movie that you really want to see!
